Job summary

At First 4 Health Group, we are committed to ensuring that all patients receive the best possible care in relation to long-term illnesses by promoting healthy living and encouraging a healthy lifestyle through various clinics and education meetings with patients is also key. Patient and Doctor/ Nurse / HCA face-to-face appointments are offered as well as the option for patients to speak to a doctor over the phone for their convenience to assist in their illness and health-related concerns.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be an experienced Healthcare Assistant, who, acting within their professional boundaries will provide care for the presenting patients as well as working alongside the clinical staff to deliver services within their remit and ensure targets are met. They will demonstrate safe decision-making and care for patients within the general practice. They will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. In order to work at this level, we require Healthcare Assistants to have a minimum NVQ Level 2 Training Certificate as well as attend any additional training required for the post.
