PPG Meeting @ Church Road Health - 29 July 2025
We wish to invite you to attend a Patient Participation Group (PPG) meeting with staff and clinicians from Church Road Health. The theme for this PPG is Diabetes Management. Learn more about preventing diabetes and the steps you can take in your daily life to better manage your blood sugar levels. We will be joined by our Health and Wellbeing Coach and GP.
What does a Patient Participation Group do?
‍
In practice, PPGs can play a number of roles, including:
‍
- Advising the practice on the patient perspective
- Organising health promotion events
- Communicating with the wider patient body
- Running volunteer services and support groups to meet local needs
- Carrying out research into the views of those who use the practice (and their carers)
- Influencing the practice or the wider NHS to improve commissioning
- Fundraising to improve the services provided by the practice
